Three days horseback trekking in which with the
first stage we will reach, crossing the "Fosso della Vena", the eastern side of
the Apennines up to the picturesque village of Bacciardi, dinner and overnight
at the Slowcanda Farmhouse.
Second day to discover the massif of Nerone.
Together we will cross the prairies where the wild
horses graze and going along the panoramic ridges we will reach the village of
Pianello di Cagli, famous for its craft saddles; the return to Bacciardi is
scheduled for the afternoon.
The last day, passing through the paths and woods of
Monte Montiego and the beautiful hills of Montefeltro, we will return to Ca' Maddalena
along the Fosso del'Eremo.
[It is always the ridges (which on clear days allow us
to cast our gaze up to the Sibillini or even to Gran Sasso) the grasslands
(especially in the Montagnola side where hundreds of horses graze free) and the
ditches (in spring they are very rich of flowing water) to characterize
this trek. Demanding paticular attention the third stage involves
the crossing of the "ditch of the Eremo" and also other short paths that in
part, for security reasons, will be tackled on foot].
